Here are some
spring time photographs taken on the Saints Way, showing the wild
daffodils and primroses. The Saints Way is an important foot path which
boarders Nanscawen Manor House, it runs from the North coast at Padstow to the
South coast at Fowey. There is a walk from the house which takes you
up hill through beautiful woodlands, is well worth the effort for the views at
the top. From here you can just see
THE EDEN PROJECT
about two miles away. There is also an Ironage Fort behind the wood which is reached by a small pathway. At the Fort there are three circles which were once the walls of a settlement which measure 100 meters in diameter, standing there you can almost feel the presence of the ancient people who once lived here 1200 years BC.
